Five Senses Friday

Well, I know that I said last Friday that these Five Senses Friday posts would be my way to look back upon and mark my experiences from the week but I promise that I didn’t intend to go a whole week without posting.  I’ve been hella busy y’all.  I am now armed with a little knowledge about how to custom edit my photos, thanks to Jessica.  Since I took a ton of photos on the weekend I have been putting my fledgeling skills to use.  Please forgive me if I process the crap out of all my photos for a little while.  I have a feeling that a little knowledge could turn out to be a dangerous thing!  Anyhow, here’s my week:

Seeing
Lovely baby Madison

Hearing
My sister’s voice on the phone

Feeling
Like I’m in a better place than I’ve been in a very long time, if ever.

Tasting
<<Les oreilles de Criss>> doused in maple syrup, pancakes and Amarula spiked coffee (Sunday brunch at a sugar shack!)

Smelling
Spring in the air!

Like I said, I took a zillion photos this week.  Here are some of my favourites.

About Debra Cowie

Debra is a photographer and visual storyteller based in Ottawa, Canada. She is an explorer at heart, whose passion for photography was born in travel and has been carried with her to more than 30 countries so far. Debra is also an avid cook and baker and much of her current work focuses on food styling and photography in her serendipitously beautifully lit kitchen. She has flirted with Polaroid and 35mm film photography but her true love is her DSLR (aka "Boyfriend Mark").
