Break’s Over

Today is the last day of August and thus the last day of The August Break. I’ve really enjoyed participating in this blogging event and I’m very grateful to Susannah for introducing me to some wonderful new (to me) bloggers and photographers. I’ve really enjoyed being able to throw up photos without the pressure of finding something witty to write in accompaniment.  It’s been a great experience overall.

Growing up the PNE was the signal that the summer was ending. While there’s no exhibition in town this year they did set up a midway so I headed over for some photos.

About Debra Cowie

Debra is a photographer and visual storyteller based in Ottawa, Canada. She is an explorer at heart, whose passion for photography was born in travel and has been carried with her to more than 30 countries so far. Debra is also an avid cook and baker and much of her current work focuses on food styling and photography in her serendipitously beautifully lit kitchen. She has flirted with Polaroid and 35mm film photography but her true love is her DSLR (aka "Boyfriend Mark").

  1. Super series to finish on. I love the Polaroid shot of the big wheel. Guess we are all still kids at heart!
